Hey all!
It is sunday morning here. I got up at 6am and went for a run with three(of my 9) roommates! It's super hot, even at 6am! We sweat a lot and it's kinda gross but it makes things pretty simple! Anyways, we moved into our dorms yesterday. There are about 40 people in my DTS and maybe 20 in the NFS DTS. So as you can guess we are meeting lots and lots of new people. In the girls dorm there is a total of about 50 girls with two bathrooms and two showers...crazy! But so far it actually hasn't been that bad at all! Showering isn't all that cool when it's this humid out because it really doesn't make a difference- more of a just rinse, shave and shampoo. In my room there are ten girls. We all very quickly started to click and get to know each other! Now that we have moved in, I feel much more settled and am really excited about the people I'm living with. Things are great! Anyways, getting ready for breakfast(the food is quite a change...we had lamb burgers last night...Hannah(girl from Texas in neon yellow) and I didn't do so well with those...it was kinda a funny scene)....and after breakfast we are headed to the beach(it's a 40 minute walk/$2 cab ride), and than we are back here at 4:30 for our official orientation and welcome BBQ. Thank you so much for your love, prayers and financial support! I can't believe I am actually here! It's quite a change but I'm excited for what God has in store. And I love the people I am in school with... so far ;) No but really, they are awesome!
